Working with new clients is akin to being a detective. A tech detective, if you will. While onsite onboarding a new business, their staff complained about network speeds and the WiFi dropping intermittently. Hmmm. With a team that was struggling with constant disruptions was costing the company time, money and their reputation.
Soon after kicking off our troubleshooting investigation, we noticed an access point was situated right next to the microwave in the kitchen. A quick test confirmed our hunch: WiFi dropped whenever an employee used the microwave. With that mystery solved, we collected asset information and determined all network devices were old and out of warranty.
